The Old Coach House is a beautifully decorated self-catering holiday cottage near Louth, Lincolnshire – perfect for couples looking for a peaceful break surrounded by nature. With its own private, secluded garden and thoughtful home comforts throughout, this is a place to truly switch off and recharge.
Step outside and you’ll find one of the finest features of this holiday cottage in Lincolnshire – a tranquil garden where birdsong is your only soundtrack. Lounge on the rattan furniture beneath the pagoda, draped in flower and grape vines, or fire up the gas BBQ and dine al-fresco under the stars. The large fish-stocked pond adds to the peaceful atmosphere, making it easy to forget the outside world entirely.
Games, DVDs and activities are all provided for your enjoyment. WiFi is available too, though we gently encourage guests to disconnect for a few days and soak up the peaceful surroundings.
Wildlife lovers will feel right at home. The grounds are alive with rabbits, squirrels, pheasants, deer, foxes and a resident owl population that hoots away on an evening – a truly magical sound.
The Old Coach House has a spacious, fully-equipped kitchen, a private bathroom and plenty of fluffy towels with complimentary toiletries provided – everything you need for a comfortable, fuss-free stay.

The Old Coach House was a perfect place for a long weekend. It’s so peaceful but there is lots to see and do close by with the beaches and Louth town, lots of walking and cycling options as well. The property has a secluded and tranquil garden for soaking up nature and admiring the stars. We were so lucky to be able to watch the badgers most evenings. We were here for 4 days but it felt like we’d been away from home for double that it was so relaxing.
Could not recommend this place enough!! My partner and I had a fantastic experience; Jessica is a wonderful host and always happy to help, the surroundings were so beautiful and peaceful, our cottage was perfect❤️ideal for those looking for a private, clean and nature-centric place to stay. Wow! We were blown away the minute we pulled into Stewton Stars hideaway. As we drove down the lane we saw an abundance of wildlife. The old coach house was so peaceful and calm – we had one of the best nights sleep we have ever had! It was so clean and homely. The garden was so calming on a morning listening to the birds. The birthday cake and balloons for my partners 40th was also a lovely touch! The list is endless! We will definitely be back! Thank you Jessica!
