We have had the privilege of staying at this magical place called Stewton Stars many times of the year, including Christmas in The Lyra, The Coach House and now, The Hydra Dome. Wow, what an incredible experience.
This Dome is truly stunning. Inside is perfection at its very best. The décor is high class and extremely luxurious, with a comfortable and cosy King size bed that lures you into a relaxed, good nights sleep. And why wouldn’t it when you can just lie and take in the beautiful views, stretching for miles and watch the sun go down as the tranquil night falls. Then, there’s the gorgeous bathtub. It’s deep, comfortable and inviting to soak in as many bubbles as you wish. I think it has magical powers that seduces you into full relaxation. Its perfectly positioned so that you can only see the amazing view outside.
Outside, gives you a beautiful, private, well thought out and well looked after garden with so many varying plants and pretty flowers. There’s a gorgeous outdoor garden terrace with quality furniture and pretty fairy lights so you can sit and watch the breath-taking views. Further down is the BBQ area with seating and fire pit for an even cosier evening.
This dome has romance written all over it and has been developed with so much love, kindness, care, peace and tranquillity… And you can feel it as soon as you walk through the beautiful private garden and into the dome.
The kitchen is modern and immaculate with everything you could possibly need. The bathroom again, is modern, immaculate with freshly stocked clean towels and even toiletries are provided should you forget yours. Both are private for you.
Above all, what makes this place my absolute go-to is the unique experience I have every time.
Jess and Darren have captured the natural beauty of the surroundings and created one of the most beautiful places to relax, unwind and simply pause. It’s the perfect place to take time for yourself, or to share special moments with the loved ones you’re with.

We’ve just come back from a stay at Stewton Stars Hideaway and honestly didn’t want to leave.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. The hosts are genuinely some of the warmest, kindest people we’ve met. They’ve created such a relaxing space and you can tell how much care and love has gone into every little detail.
The globe accommodation was such a unique experience. It was cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed for a peaceful romantic break. Waking up to the beautiful gardens and those incredible views was the highlight of the stay. It was so quiet and calming – exactly what we needed to switch off.
We spent the evening making the most of the BBQ, sitting outside and just enjoying the surroundings. Everything you could need was there, and the whole place just felt so peaceful and welcoming.
If you’re looking for somewhere to slow down, recharge and enjoy a bit of peace and nature, I honestly can’t recommend Stewton Stars Hideaway enough.
