The Natural World

Blessed with over 50 miles of stunning coastline, visit Lincolnshire’s Natural Coast to witness the many species of birds that flock to the area. Visit the observatories at Gibraltar Point and Chapel Point for the best views.

Inland, you will find an array of wonderful nature reserves, bursting with flora and fauna. For truly spectacular views make sure to visit RedHill – famous for the exposure of red chalk and precious carnation meadows.

During winter, Donna Nook is a spectacular wildlife treat. It sees approximately 2000 grey seal pups born along this stretch of coastline every year, where visitors can watch from the purpose built viewing area. One not to be missed!

Alternatively, get active as you walk or cycle the many trails across the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds (AONB). Whether coast or woodland is your preference, there are hundreds of routes to choose from.

Food and Drink

The Georgian market town of Louth is only two miles from our location and boasts an array of bars, cafes and restaurants to cater for every taste.

Visit Beaumonts deli and cafe, a delightful spot for coffee, cakes and home-cooked treats.  Those searching for ice-cream will be delighted with the huge selection on offer at award winning Baci and Co.

Traditional Lincolnshire pubs are also aplenty, with quality homemade offerings boasting some of the country’s finest.

For the ultimate in fine dining be sure to visit The Priory. A former mathematical academy, here you’ll be served an exclusive 7 course taster menu. A truly wonderful delight and just perfect for a romantic evening.

For those seeking a different experience, Louth Distillery offers a fabulous gin school and tasting tour (receive 10% discount when booked through us).
