Lyra is the only cabin with a log burner inside and private firepit on the terrace.

Yes – every unit has it’s own private bathroom. The bathrooms for the cabins are around a 1 minute walk along a well lit woodland pathway.

Yes, there is a shared kitchen and dining space available for all our guests to use. Its a large space and can easily accommodate everyone on site – including everything you could need to prepare food and drinks during your stay. Gas ovens, microwaves, toasters and all dining ware is provided.

Our cabins are designed to provide a cosy countryside retreat and are a lovely way to enjoy the Lincolnshire Wolds during the colder months. All cabins have electric radiators, fluffy blankets, hot water bottles and electric blankets on the bed. Lyra also has a log burner inside.

We recommend bringing suitable layers so you can stay comfortable while enjoying the outdoors in all seasons.

Our rural setting is home to a variety of wildlife and guests may spot deer, foxes, badgers and owls, alongside a wonderful variety of birds. Wildlife sightings vary with the season and time of day, but simply taking a moment to listen to the birdsong and enjoy the woodland surroundings is part of the magic.

Absolutely. Our countryside location offers lovely opportunities to enjoy the night sky on clear evenings. Away from the brighter lights of busy towns and cities, you can step outside, look up at the stars and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Lincolnshire countryside.

There is also a purpose built stargazing terrace which all guests are welcome to use – including a firepit and deep comfortable egg chairs for the perfect stargazing experience.

Stewton Stars Hideaway offers a chance to experience the countryside in a distinctive and memorable way.

Our woodland cabins combine characterful accommodation with peaceful surroundings, wildlife and the beauty of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Whether you’re seeking a romantic escape, a nature-filled adventure or simply a little breathing space, our hideaways invite you to slow down and enjoy life’s simpler pleasures.

The accommodation units are self catering, although we can provide a breakfast hamper for your arrival (you can add this when you book). This contains locally sourced items such as bacon, eggs, sausages, black pudding, bread, honey and marmalade along with coffee bags.

We also offer a number of other special packages – which you can find here

We do not provide WiFi on site – this is to encourage guests to enjoy a digital detox for a few days. We do provide an array of books, games and activities for you to enjoy with your loved ones instead.

If necessary however, we do get a good 4G and 5G signal for most network providers.

We recommend comfortable footwear for exploring the countryside, clothing suitable for the season and anything you’d like to make your stay extra special. Some slip on shoes are handy for the short walk to the bathroom facilities.

No need to bring any kitchen items, logs or firelighters – this is all provided for your stay.
